The Houston Astros' failure to defend their World Series title this 2023 might also signal the end of Dusty Baker's tenure as manager of the team.
According to the latest updates, Baker is expected to leave his role as Astros manager following the team's loss to the Texas Rangers in the ALCS, per Brittany Ghiroli and Chandler Rome of The Athletic.

The 74-year-old Baker has a 58.6 winning percentage with the Astros, tallying a 320-226 win-loss record since taking over Houston in 2020. That is the second-best mark in the team's history, only behind AJ Hinch.
