The Atlanta Falcons had high expectations coming into the season, but they have not come even close to living up to those. Coming into their Week 7 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, the Falcons only have one win, and their season might already be lost, but if it's not, a loss in this game would be a final nail in the coffin.

So can they save their season at least for a week? Or will it be another disappointing week of Falcons football?

Let's break down three bold predictions for their showdown with the Rams.

3. They give Jared Goff a ton of confidence

Jared Goff has been up and down this season and is coming off one of the worst performances of his career. Against the San Francisco 49ers, he completed only 54.2 percent of his passes for 78 yards. He also couldn't find the end zone and the Rams only scored seven points.

The good news for Goff is that he gets to go against a Falcons pass defense that has been one of the worst in football this year. The Rams are giving up 271.2 yards per game through the air, and that means Goff should be in line for a big game in this one.

The Falcons allowed Kyler Murray to have his coming out party last week when he threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns. Expect Goff to match those stats and don't be shocked if he throws for four touchdowns.

2. Matt Ryan has another big game, and gets blamed for another loss

When outsiders see the Falcons are losing, they usually like to blame it on Matt Ryan, but he is the least of the problems this year. In each of his last three games, he has thrown for 33o yards and against the Arizona Cardinals, he threw for 356 yards and four touchdowns.

The Rams defense has proven to be a problem at times, and Ryan should have a really big game, although it won't be enough.

1. Dan Quinn gets canned

The Falcons defense is going to cause the team to lose another game and this is finally when Dan Quinn loses his job.

Unless the Falcons can pull off the miracle, Quinn is going to be gone after the season, so why keep him around? Quinn decided that the team didn't need a defensive coordinator and that has backfired in a big way. It's time for a new voice to be in charge and that means this will be Quinn's last week in charge of the Falcons.
