Barcelona blew a three-goal lead on Saturday against Celta Vigo, settling for an underwhelming 3-3 draw. In the process, the Catalans lost yet another key player to injury, with Ansu Fati limping off with an apparent hamstring problem.

Barcelona is already missing the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique, Sergino Dest, and Pedri, among others. This latest blow comes on the same day that Barca hired club legend Xavi as their new manager.

Fati's latest setback comes just a couple of months since he returned from a serious knee injury that kept him out for almost a year. The Spanish National Team will also be cringing at the news because he will undoubtedly be sidelined for their upcoming World Cup Qualifiers where they face Greece and Sweden across the next two weeks of the international break.

Barcelona clash with Benfica on November 23rd with a chance to book their ticket to the Champions League knockout stages, but it remains to be seen if Fati will be healthy by then. In eight appearances since his return, the youngster has scored four goals and proven to be an integral piece of Barca's attack.

Defender Eric Garcia also suffered an injury on Saturday, adding to the laundry list of problems for the La Liga giants. Needless to say, Xavi is going to have an absolute task at hand upon his arrival at Camp Nou. Barcelona are still ninth in the table.
