According to multiple reports, Chicago Bears head coach John Fox believes he's essentially already fired, and is accepting that fate rather well.

Fox has reportedly “accepted his fate” according to a report from NFL Network’s Mike Garoppolo in conjunction with a report from Ian Rapoport that several Bears coaches are under the impression that things won’t end well for Fox in Chicago.

More or less, and it is certainly more, John Fox realizes the firing is inevitable and it is just a matter of time before it becomes official. That, basically, there is not a single thing he could do to save his position.

The Bears are 30th in the NFL in scoring offense and dead last in total offense. For those unaware of how math works, that is less than ideal. To be somewhat fair to Fox, he is trotting out a rookie gunslinger each week. Rare is the rookie quarterback who helps an NFL team score a billion points on a consistent basis.

Then again, in total, Fox has managed to earn a paltry 12 wins in three seasons at the helm of the Bears, losing 32 times in that span of time. That is, also, not very good.

Who should Chicago target next?
