Fromer Chicago Bears running back and current free agent Tarik Cohen has had a tough past couple of years, as he tore his ACL and MCL in September of 2020 and hasn't taken part in a game since. Cohen's bad injury luck continued on Tuesday, as the former Bears halfback appeared to suffer a heartbreaking Achilles injury during a live streamed workout video on his Instagram account. Pro Football Talk has the details.

Free agent running back Tarik Cohen appeared to suffer a serious injury while working out today, with all of it live streamed on Cohen’s own Instagram account.

The video shows Cohen doing an agility drill, planting his foot to change directions and then falling to the ground, grabbing the back of his ankle.

Cohen was running an agility drill when his right leg just gave out on him. The former Bear grabbed at the back of his ankle, which led some to speculate that he had just suffered an Achilles injury.

Whether it's an Achilles injury or something else, it appears to be a big setback for Cohen, who was on the road to a return after the devastating knee injury he suffered in Week 3 of the 2020 season. It's just an awful development for the 26-year-old.

The 2018 All Pro made a name for himself in the league as an elite-level pass-catcher out of the backfield, twice tallying over 90 receptions in a single season. In a heartbreaking turn of events, Cohen now faces another long recovery after this scary-looking injury.
