Nick Foles was trying to lead the Chicago Bears to a last-minute game-winning touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings. He never got to finish the drive. Foles was slammed to the ground when throwing a pass and was injured. He had to be carted off the field at the end of a 19-13 loss which gave the Bears a fourth straight loss and moved them to 5-5.

Tyler Bray filled in for Foles, with Mitchell Trubisky unavailable against the Vikings.

Nick Foles has not been the answer for the Bears, but he is better than Trubisky was. Foles replaced Trubisky in Week 3 of the season and led a fourth-quarter comeback against the Atlanta Falcons. Foles also beat Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this season.

However, Foles has not been able to give the Bears the high-octane offense which would make Chicago the best team in the NFC. The Bears continue to squander good performances from their defense. Khalil Mack and Co. held the Vikings, Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, and superstar running back Dalvin Cook under 20 points, but it wasn't enough.

With or without Foles, the Bears and head coach Matt Nagy are not finding answers on offense. This is far more than just a Foles problem in the Windy City.
