It is no secret that veteran NFL wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. has speed, which is presumably why the Chicago Bears elected to sign him as a free agent this offseason. Despite his age, the 35-year-old Ginn Jr. can still no doubt turn on the jets while covering all areas of the field from his wide receiver position.

As a result, Ginn Jr. has issued a statement of warning to the rest of the league regarding his speed, something that the seasoned pass-catcher is very much aware of, via Kevin Fishbain.

With the speedy Ginn Jr. now officially on board in the “Windy City,” the Bears have managed to put together quite the well-rounded wide receiver group heading into the upcoming 2020-21 campaign. With another veteran in Allen Robinson II and Anthony Miller leading the way, the Bears will more than likely have Ginn Jr. line up in the slot to complement the aforementioned duo. Not only that, but the Bears also employ wide receiver and return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson, who can be used in a variety of different packages and formations.

Unfortunately for the Bears, though, Chicago still plays in the always dangerous NFC North division alongside the arch-rival Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions. The Bears also have one of the more unstable quarterback situations in the entire NFL at the moment as the team's franchise quarterback in Mitchell Trubisky hasn't quite panned out as originally planned. As a result, the Bears brought in journeyman signal-caller Nick Foles to compete for the starting job in Chicago.
