Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is in an interesting spot this offseason.

Carr is coming off one of the finest individual seasons of his career. He threw for over 4,000 yards while also posting a 70.4 completion percentage and a career-high 7.9 yards gained per pass attempt.

But with the Raiders reportedly expected to be in hot pursuit of Tom Brady, Carr's future is up for grabs.

Carr added to the speculation on Thursday, taking to Instagram to post a picture of himself and former Raider teammate Khalil Mack.

Carr and Mack entered the league together as rookies in 2014, eventually turning the Raiders into a 12-win team in 2016. But Jon Gruden traded Mack to the Chicago Bears prior to the 2018 season.

Is a reunion on the horizon?

The Bears have been insistent they will stick with current starter Mitchell Trubisky in spite of Trubisky's struggles last season. However, Carr would be an interesting target. He is currently under contract until 2023, and he also has experience working with a limited receiving corps.

Then again, this could easily be Carr's way of merely stirring the pot. In fact, he posted a picture alluding a potential move to the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday afternoon.

Then again, there is a very real possibility the Raiders will deal Carr.

Raiders beat reporter Vincent Bonsignore reported multiple teams around the league are said to have interest in Carr, and the Raiders could put all their chips on the table in an effort to convince Brady to head to Vegas (via Samantha Previte of the New York Post).

Raiders beat reporter Vincent Bonsignore reported on Tuesday that there is a “growing sense within [the] league is there are NFL teams prepared to inquire with [the Raiders] about the possibly of trading for Derek Carr.”

Carr's status figures to be a major storyline throughout the offseason. The question is, are the Bears going to show any interest?
