Change has really arrived in Philadelphia. Not only does the team enjoy a surge in the interest of fans, but the merchandise sales also reflect the excitement over the Sixers’ prospects.

To no surprise, top overall pick Ben Simmons leads the way. Although he didn’t fare well in terms of the popularity voting among the members of his draft class, Simmons is still very popular among fans.

According to Suzette Parmley of Philly.com, the global demand for the versatile young forward’s jersey has been very high.

Since draft night, Fanatics.com is reporting that in terms of merchandise sales, Simmons is the 10th-best seller among National Basketball Association players. He's the highest-selling Philadelphia athlete in all sports across the Fanatics platform of hundreds of e-commerce sites, which includes SixersShop.com – the Sixers' official team store.

While Simmons has quite a large fan base coming from Australia, the Sixers’ mix of international players might have also helped in boosting sales.

The top to the ninth best sellers are, in order, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Russell Westbrook.
