Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is keeping himself busy during the offseason. According to Danny Pommells of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the 24-year-old is set to be a keynote speaker in an upcoming ESports Business Summit in October.

The reports states that the summit will be held on October 27 to 29, with Simmons slated to speak on Day 3. The event will be held virtually, of course.

Simmons is making a name for himself in the gaming industry, and this latest development only furthers his position as one of the most influential NBA personalities in the world of ESports. Recently, the two-time All-Star invested a significant amount of money in FaZe Clan, a huge player in the world of ESports. Simmons came in not only as an investor, but as a brand ambassador as well.

Oh, and he's a pretty good gamer, too. According to sources, he was one out of four players for his clan, as they took part in a 25-team Call of Duty: Warzone tournament a couple of weeks ago. While his team was unable to bag the grand prize in the $75,000 tourney, he continued to make his mark in the gaming world.

Aside from video games, however, Ben Simmons will also need to focus on his basketball during the offseason. The Sixers star is currently recovering from season-ending knee surgery, which was one of the reasons why Philadelphia struggled in the playoffs. Simmons is expected to be fully healthy for the new campaign, and his team will need him to be at his very best, as they hope to challenge for the title next season.
