A.J. Green has had injury issues throughout his career with the Cincinnati Bengals and he is ailing once again. After suffering a toe injury in the Bengals' last game, Green is expected to miss quite a bit of time.

According to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Green is expected to be out until December with the injury, more than the two games that the team originally was expecting him to miss.

Green is still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He has had a big season for the Bengals, who are fighting and clawing trying to stay in the AFC playoff race. Missing that much time could have a major impact on their playoff chances.

In the eight games that he has played this season with the Bengals, Green has caught 45 passes for 687 yards and six touchdowns. He had one of his best career games earlier this season against the Baltimore Ravens, catching five passes for 69 yards and three touchdowns.

Cincinnati's offense is nothing close to the same without Green on the field. Tyler Boyd will be asked to step up in a big way during Green's absence, while Joe Mixon will need to shoulder a bigger workload as well.

Hopefully, Green's recovery goes smoothly and there are not setbacks. Getting his foot some rest and treatment over the next few weeks should be able to get him back on the field.

Expect to see Green return to the field in December and pick up where he left off at the level he was playing.
