The Cincinnati Bengals are on top of the AFC. The Jungle's Cinderella run through the playoffs had yet another magical chapter, as they knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs on the road to advance to the Super Bowl. After years of playoff failures, the team has found incredible success this season.

Following the Bengals' 27 – 24 win over the Chiefs, former Cincinnati star receiver AJ Green revived his Instagram account to congratulate Joe Burrow and co. Green had this to say about his former team: (via Willie Lutz)

Green will be best remembered in Cincinnati as Andy Dalton's partner-in-crime. The star quarterback-receiver duo would electrify Paul Brown stadium with their amazing plays on the field. However, playoff troubles plagued this duo, as they would falter time and time again in the postseason.

It's safe to say that the Bengals have found their new star duo, though. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase have been Cincinnati's new one-two punch, continuing the legacies of Dalton and AJ Green before them. The duo has led the franchise to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1989, and are now looking to win the city's first Lombardi trophy.

Green would leave the Bengals in the last offseason, signing with the Arizona Cardinals to play alongside Kyler Murray. Fans are certainly thinking what could've been if Green was able to play with Burrow, Chase, and this talented roster. Nonetheless, the City will take this Super Bowl run and finish it through, for their former players who tried to bring glory to their city.
