The Cincinnati Bengals knew that they had to come to play on Sunday against a tough Pittsburgh Steelers team and they are doing exactly that. Cincinnati currently leads the Pittsburgh Steelers 41-3, which is the largest lead the Bengals have ever had over the Steelers.
This was a huge game to determine the AFC North standings as the Bengals were only a game ahead of the Steelers and they're only a game behind the Baltimore Ravens. They have been impressive on every side of the ball as Joe Burrow is 20-24 with 190 yards and a touchdown, Joe Mixon has had an incredible game with 28 carries for 165 yards and two touchdowns, and the defense also has a pick-6.
Unfortunately for Cincinnati, they do have some disappointing losses this season that are keeping them out of first place in the AFC North. They lost games to the New York Jets ad Cleveland Browns in two of the past four weeks, which were two games that were easily winnable for this Bengals team. They realize that right now all they can do is control their own destiny and that's to win every game from here on out.
The future is bright in Cincinnati. They have an extremely young core that's going to look to make the playoffs and gain some valuable experience for the future. This was an impressive win from Cincinnati and they will look to build on it for the future.
