Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made his triumphant return from an ACL tear in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings. It was only fitting that Burrow would be a hero.

On a fourth-and-short in the final minute of overtime, Burrow dropped back and lofted a perfect pass to C.J. Uzomah for 32 yards down to the Minnesota 20-yard line. It was a thing of beauty:

The Bengals then avoided the tie when rookie Evan McPherson hit the game-winning field goal from 33 yards out, sending the Cincinnati faithful into a tizzy thanks to a 27-24 win:

This game was a real roller-coaster ride. After a bunch of punts early, the Vikings finally got on the board with a 91-yard touchdown drive. The Bengals answered back and wound up taking a 21-7 lead in the third quarter.

The score was 24-14 when Minnesota mounted a comeback, and the game went to overtime courtesy of Greg Joseph's 53-yard field goal to end regulation. There was nothing doing for much of overtime, but then it looked like the Vikings might get the win as they drove into Bengals territory.

However, Dalvin Cook fumbled and Cincinnati recovered, with the Bengals keeping the ball after a review. Burrow then worked his magic to get his team in position to win.

The young quarterback had a stellar outing, completing 20 out of 27 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't turn the ball over once. This was definitely a great way to return from such a major injury, and Burrow will look to use this as confidence moving forward this season.
