After being postponed amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Academy Awards will finally push through on April 25 at Dolby Theater in Hollywood. Nominations for the Oscars were officially announced on Monday, with Mank leading the way with 10 nominations, including a Best Picture nom.
Before the nominations were officially announced, The Action Network posted a list of the Oscar odds.
For Best Picture, Nomadland got tagged as the clear favorite with odds of -244, followed by The Trial of the Chicago 7 with +250 and Minari with +900.
Chloe Zhao of Nomadland is the favorite for Best Director with odds of -244. Mank's David Fincher of Mank is trailing behind with +250, while Lee Isaac Chung of Minari (+900) rounds out the top three in the category.
The late Chadwick Boseman, who appeared in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, is viewed as a favorite for Best Actor, though no official odds are up yet. Bettors on the Oscars can instead bet on The Father's Anthony Hopkins, who is in the second spot with odds of +800, followed by Sound of Metal's Riz Ahmed at +1200.

Judas and the Black Messiah's Daniel Kaluuya is the favorite for Best Supporting Actor at -400, with Sacha Baron Cohen of the Borat sequel next at +300. Baron Cohen's costar, Maria Bakalova, is the favorite in the Best Supporting Actress category at +225.
The Trial of the Chicago 7 barges in another category for Best Original Screenplay with odds of -175. Promising Young Woman is tagged at +150. Mank was next at +900, but it somehow didn't garner a nomination.
Nomadland is the favorite for Best Adapted Screenplay with odds of -278, while One Night in Miami follows suit with +600. The Father is not far behind with odds of +800.
