The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a very interesting Week 18 matchup. It's going to take a lot, but the Ravens do still have a crazy chance of making the playoffs if some wild things could happen this week in the NFL.
It is not going to be easy for the Ravens to walk away with a victory in this game, although if they were at full strength, they do have a great chance of beating the Steelers. Unfortunately for Baltimore, they're going to be without star quarterback Lamar Jackson and that's going to make this a lot tougher for them to win than it would have been if he was on the field.
Let's take a look at four bold predictions for the Baltimore Ravens as they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18.

Ravens Week 18 predictions
4. The defense has to replicate what they did a week ago
If Baltimore wants any chance of winning this game, they're going to need to do what they did a week ago against the Los Angeles Rams. They only gave up 20 points but unfortunately, that was not enough for the offense to get the job done. In this game, if Baltimore can limit the Steelers to only 20 points, they're going to walk away with a victory.
If they can only give up 20 points against one of the best offenses in all football, they can certainly replicate that against a below-average Steelers offense
3. Mark Andrews needs to carry the offense
Article Continues BelowMark Andrews is one of the best players in all of football and arguably is the best tight end in the game. Obviously, there is George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and a few others who you could compare to somebody like Andrews. What he has done on the field for his career is undeniable and has to be looked at as one of the best in the NFL currently.

2. Baltimore wins, but it's close
This is obviously going to be a very close game because Baltimore isn't at full strength and the Steeler's offense isn't great. Usually, when both of these teams play, the games are somewhat close just because they are a rival and that's not going to change even if the Ravens are severely injured. They're going to do everything that they can and eventually be able to walk away with a win by kicking a fourth-quarter field goal that's going to help this team win, 22-20.
1. Ravens miss the playoffs
Unfortunately for Baltimore, they aren't going to be able to have some luck go their way and they're going to miss the playoffs this season. When you have the type of talent that Baltimore has, it is a disappointing year. At the end of the day, Baltimore got injured more than anybody in the NFL and that has caused them to miss the playoffs. It's unfortunate, but it is a part of the game and Baltimore is going to do everything they can next season to make sure that they all stay on the field and can get to the playoffs and hopefully win a Super Bowl.
