With bouts against former champions like Holly Holm, Miesha Tate, and Raquel Pennington, she lost her most recent fight against Kayla Harrison and will be hoping for her first title shot with a win here. Vieira stands 5-foot-8 with a 68-inch reach.
Macy Chiasson (10-3) has gone 8-3 inside the UFC since 2018. After a slight downturn where she went 2-2 over four fights, she's won back-to-back bouts against Pannie Kianzad and Mayra Bueno Silva, both resulting in “Performance of the Night” bonuses. Why Kelten Vieira Will Win

Ketlen Vieira had a tough draw during her last bout, considering the now meteoric rise of contender Kayla Harrison, but her ability to hang in there and last all three rounds says a lot about her toughness and defensive abilities to stuff six of eight takedown attempts and only fall behind by 29 total strikes. It was a one-sided bout, but the performance can be seen as a positive when trying to establish herself once again.
Vieira will be dealing with a very tall and rangy striker in Chiasson, and she'll have to adapt her short shots to the longer frame of her opponent. Vieira does a great job of dirty boxing from in the clinch and isn't afraid to press forward with her striking, so she could certainly see success in putting Chiasson on her back foot.
Against the cage, Vieira is also very strong and will consistently chase single-leg takedowns. She's very strong up top and while Chiasson is a solid grappler in her own right, Vieira should feel confident in attacking from top position if she's able to find it.

Macy Chiasson saw a tough string of fights that included a loss to Irene Aldana from an upkick to the liver, a split decision win, and a guillotine choke loss. Since then, however, she's improved her offense greatly and has finished her last two fights, both resulting in performance bonuses. Her inside elbows are nasty and can cut opponents easily, while her quick reflexes on the ground make her a constant submission threat.
To biggest improvement to Chiasson's game over the last two fights has been her confidence and willingness to exchange with opponents. She's really beginning to use her long frame to her advantage while creating distance when she needs to. Her striking defense could use improvement at 44%, but she makes up for it with her output and ability to use her kicks.
Her last two wins should have her confident heading into this fight as she'll see a similar look to her last few opponents. Vieira is a very worthy opponent in the grappling, so we should see Chiasson keeping this fight on the feet and finding her licks wherever she can get them. Keep an eye out on her knees up the middle and low calf kicks throughout this one.

We should have another high-level bout in this one as both women are closing in on a potential title shot. Ketlen Vieira has certainly seen the higher level of competition up to this point as her pedigree in the division has remained consistent. Chiasson is on a recent hot streak and is more than likely to continue it if she's able to keep fighting confidently.
Still, I think Chiasson has more holes in her game when it comes to her takedown and striking defense. She's often relying on being the more aggressive fighter, and if Vieira can sense that early, she should be able to use it to her advantage and cause Chiasson to make mistakes.
Overall, I think Ketlen Vieira will come out a winner in this extremely close fight thanks to her resolve and ability to remain present during chaotic moments.
