UFC Vegas 92: Edson Barboza vs. Lerone Murphy continues on the main card with the co-main event fight in the welterweight division between Khoas Williams and Carlston Harris. Williams got back on track in his last fight winning a close split decision meanwhile, Harris has now won back-to-back fights for the second time in his UFC career and will be looking to extend his winning streak this weekend. With that said, check out our UFC odds series for our Williams-Harris prediction and pick.

Khaos Williams (14-3) is coming off a highly questionable split decision victory against Rolando Bedoya in his last fight. That has given him wins in three out of his last four fights and he will be looking to get back on a winning streak inside the Octagon when he takes on the surging Carlson Harris this weekend at UFC Vegas 92.

Carlston Harris (19-5) came into his UFC career guns blazing with back-to-back first-round finishes most notably knocking out Impa Kasanganay. He then took his first loss of his UFC career when he was knocked out by Shavkat Rakhmonov. Harris was then able to get back on track in a big way with consecutive victories, most recently choking out Jeremiah Wells and he will be looking to extend his winning streak to three when he takes on Khaos Williams this weekend at the UFC Apex.

Why Khaos Williams Will Win

Khaos Williams is now 5-2 in his UFC career after he scraped by the skin of his teeth against Rolando Bedoya via split decision in his last fight. He has had some impressive victories during his run in the UFC with knockout victories over Alex Morono, Abdul Razak Alhassan, and Miguel Baeza. Williams will be looking to keep his winning ways going when he takes on the dangerous Carlston Harris in this co-main event at UFC Vegas 92.

Article Continues Below

Williams is a very dangerous striker as we've seen in his three knockouts in his five victories inside the Octagon. However, he has yet to have a knockout since 2021's victory over Miguel Baeza. With that said, he's still by far the most dangerous striker Harris has faced since his showdown with Shavkat Rakhmonov. Williams does a great job at utilizing his distance management to avoid the power strikes of his opponents and while Harris isn't most the technical striker he does have deceptive power in his strikes and they come from odd angles. It's up to Williams to defend the takedowns of Harris and keep this fight standing to where he can land his strikes for the potential knockout or win on the judge's scorecards.

Why Carlston Harris Will Win

Carlston Harris is now 4-1 in his UFC career after defeating Jeremiah Wells via Anaconda Choke in round three. He was most likely losing on all three judge's scorecards leading up to that finish but he pulled a rabbit out of his hat and snatched up the submission giving him his second win in a row. Harris has three finishes in his four wins inside the Octagon and will be looking to make it three in a row when he takes on Khaos Williams this weekend at UFC Vegas 92.

Harris is a very difficult fighter to gameplan against because he's not the most technical fighter but he's sneaky good everywhere. He's got deceptive power in his strikes and he has a lethal submission game where he likes to set up a lot of chokes due to his long reach. Harris' game plan in the majority of his fights is to take the fight to the mat and get the submission and this fight will be no different. While he can compete on the feet with Williams he will have a much better chance if this fight were to hit the mat. If Harris can avoid getting knocked out and drag Williams to the mat we could potentially see another submission finish on his resume.

Final Khaos Williams-Carlston Harris Prediction & Pick

This should be a fun fight for the co-main event of this fight night event. Williams is coming to take Harris' head off meanwhile, Harris will be looking to snatch Williams' neck and get the submission victory. Ultimately, Harris is going to come out aggressive early slinging heavy leather to get inside the clinch but Williams will be well-equipped to defend those takedowns and when the fight is within space he will land a big shot that will put Harris away midway through the fight extending his winning streak to two.
