The New York Liberty and the Connecticut Sun finally meet. This is a game WNBA fans have been waiting for. With the Minnesota Lynx and Las Vegas Aces both losing on Friday night, these are now the only two teams in the league with fewer than three losses. It's the second-place Liberty versus the first-place and unbeaten Sun, the teams in line to get the top two seeds in the WNBA playoffs after one-fourth of the regular season. We have many miles left to go, but these two teams have set the pace and will relish the chance to measure themselves against each other.
What adds to the allure of this matchup is that defending WNBA champion Las Vegas is struggling.
