Why The 76ers Can Cover The Spread

The 76ers will be without Joel Embiid, Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle in addition to Simmons on Tuesday. This leaves Seth Curry and Tobias Harris to run the show, along with Tyrese Maxey. This will still be a tough order to beat or cover vs. the Jazz without Embiid. as Utah has been one of the better teams at home traditionally. The Sixers' 4-2 road record matches Utah's home record this season, though. Philadelphia is a sneaky pick to cover in Utah on Tuesday. Snapping their four-game losing streak will be a tougher task.

Why The Jazz Can Cover The Spread

The Jazz should win this game, but a cover is another story with a spread this large. The Jazz still have the third best net rating in the NBA despite their recent skid. Utah has now lost two in a row at home so they will be as desperate as the 76ers are for a win on Tuesday. Utah was one of the best home teams in the NBA last season, so if they want to keep that status they can't drop three in a row at home. Utah should get the win on Monday, but the cover will be difficult vs. a hungry Sixers team.
