Why The Bucks Could Cover The Spread
The Bucks will have their big three of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday in this one, so they should be in a good position for the win and the cover. Milwaukee had an impressive come from behind win over the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day, as Antetokounmpo took over the game in the second half. Milwaukee sits as the No. 3 seed in the East this season with a 22-13 record, and they will be looking for their fourth straight win Tuesday in Orlando. The Bucks should be able to cover vs. a beat up Orlando group, but with this many points to lay, you truly never know. Orlando is the No. 14 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 7-27 record coming into play on Tuesday night.
Milwaukee vs. the spread
Article Continues BelowThe Bucks are just 15-20 against the spread this season and 4-6 in their last ten games. Milwaukee is 13-13 vs. the spread as the favorite this season, and 8-4 vs. the number as a road favorite.
Why The Magic Could Cover The Spread
The spread being so large is about all the Magic have going for them in this one. The Bucks are the much, much better, much, much healthier team. Orlando at full strength may have no chance in this one, and they are not even close to being there. Cole Anthony, Mo Bamba, Michael Carter-Williams, Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Issac, E'Twaun Moore, Mychal Mulder, Chuma Okeke, Terrence Ross and Jalen Suggs are all out for the Magic on Tuesday. There is no reason to put money on Orlando other than blindly chasing a large spread.
Orlando vs. the spread
The Magic are 15-19 vs. the spread as underdogs this season, but just 3-10 as home underdogs. Orlando has not yet been a favorite this season, they have been the underdog in every single game to this point. The Magic are just 4-6 in their last ten games vs. the spread but have covered in three of their last four.
Final Bucks-Magic Prediction and Pick
Take the Bucks to cover and win in this one. The Magic are one of the worst teams in the NBA and their roster will be even worse than normal on Tuesday with all of the absences. Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Holiday should be more than enough, but to add insult to injury for the Magic, Milwaukee is about as healthy as they have been all season entering this one.
Final Bucks-Magic Prediction & Pick: Bucks -14.5 (-108)
