The Kings have been one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA again this season, and there's little reason to think they'd be able to slow down the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton look like a promising young backcourt, but it just has not translated to wins to this point. The Kings allowed 113.8 points per game, which is the third most in the NBA and second most in the Western Conference. Why The Nuggets Could Cover The Spread
Denver should be in a good spot in this one with Jokic not on the injury report. The Nuggets are 8-7 at home so far this season, and will be looking to bounce back having lost at home to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Jokic is having a stellar season again this year, averaging 25.7 points, 14.2 rebounds and 7 assists per game. He leads the Nuggets in all three categories.

The Nuggets are 15-21 vs. the spread this season, and 6-9 at home. Denver is 7-11 as a favorite vs. the line for the season and 4-6 vs. the spread across their last ten games. This could be a good spot for a cover vs. a bad Kings team, but Denver is laying a lot of points.
