The Sacramento Kings are (19-34) on the season and come into this game as major underdogs. The Kings did beat the Nets last night, however, as James Harden and Kyrie Irving combined for 18 points on 7-26 shooting. Despite the win over the depleted Nets, the Kings still have a ton of work to do to become relevant this season.
The Golden State Warriors are coming off of a win over the San Antonio Spurs two days ago. They continue to dominate this season with a (39-13) record, good for 2nd in the NBA overall. With stars out on both sides, this will be an interesting game to pay attention to.

Why The Kings Could Cover The Spread
The Kings will be without De'Aron Fox and potentially Marvin Bagley III against the Warriors. They defeated the Nets without them last night but the Nets have lost five-straight games without Kevin Durant playing. Sacramento played well regardless and saw seven players reach double-digits. Davion Mitchell scored 18 points and Harrison Barnes scored 19 with seven rebounds. Buddy Hield scored 18 off the bench so they got some great production from young and veteran players. The Kings will need similar play from them again tonight because the Warriors are playing a lot better than the Nets right now.
Without Fox, it's going to be tough to stay quick and defend Curry. Curry is 6th in the NBA in scoring at 26 points per game but missed the last game against the Spurs along with Klay Thompson. Those two are set to return tonight so the Kings will have a major task at hands defending them. The Warriors won the last meeting between these two 133-98 so this could end up a blowout again if the Kings don't play better.
Why The Warriors Could Cover The Spread
With Curry and Thompson back, that gives them a huge chance to cover this spread. It's a large one so it won't be easy. Golden State will be without Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green, and James Wiseman, so they will need to rely on Kevon Looney to control the boards and the paint. Jordan Poole is fresh off of a 31-point game so if he stays hot then the Warriors' offense might put up a ton of points once again.
Golden State is 22-8 against the West this season and are 24-4 at home. They will surely win this game as a loss here would truly be an upset. If the Warriors are to cover this large spread they must dominate this game from the beginning and get out to an early lead. They can't let Barnes, Hield, and Mitchell have a good game offensively or the Kings could cover this spread.
Final Kings-Warriors Prediction & Pick
This is a large spread for the Warriors but they are capable of winning this game comfortably at home. It's going to take a huge effort from the Kings to keep up on a back-to-back.
Final Kings-Warriors Prediction & Pick: Warriors -14 (-112)
