Wednesday night in The Association will feature this elite Western Conference matchup! It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Suns-Jazz prediction and pick.
Phoenix remains one of the toughest teams to beat in the NBA. They just keep on winning and have the top record in the league at (37-9). The Suns are coming off of a close win against this same Jazz team just two days ago 115-109. The Jazz are (30-18) on the year which puts them fourth in the West behind the Memphis Grizzlies. This has the makings of another close battle between two of the league's best squads.

Why The Suns Could Cover The Spread
Article Continues BelowLet's get right to the chase. There isn't a spread the Suns can't cover. This is a relatively small spread considering they are 9-1 in their last 10 games and the Jazz are 2-8. Either way, the Suns are going to come out and try to win by more than just one point. For anyone considering betting on the Suns, that is a good sign. They are also one of the better teams in the NBA against the spread at 25-21. None of the Jazz starters played in the last meeting, however, and they only lost by six. Phoenix was without DeAndre Ayton but managed to outrebound them 51-38. The Suns are 23-7 against the West this season. They are seeking their eighth-straight win and look to take full control of the NBA. Phoenix should have no issue covering this spread because both Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell will not play tonight.

Why The Jazz Could Cover The Spread
Utah just isn't playing well right now but a lot of that is because of injuries and covid-19 related issues. They just haven't had their full team intact for long lately. The Jazz kept it close against the Suns last time out even though none of their starters played. With no Mitchell and Gobert again tonight, it's very hard for them to compete. Yes, they played well last time and put a lot of pressure on the Suns, but with the spread where it's at I find it hard for the Suns not to cover. Utah is 21-26-1 against the spread this year and has lost four of their last five games. It's going to take an all-out effort from them tonight and they must contain Devin Booker and Chris Paul if they want any chance.
Final Suns-Jazz Prediction & Pick
This should be an easy pick considering the circumstances and the spread. Take the Suns to cover on the road as they look to beat the Jazz twice in a row in consecutive games.
Final Suns-Jazz Prediction & Pick: Suns -1.5 (-110)
