Saints Week 18 Predictions
4. Defense continues to dominate
The reason why the Saints have had so much this success this season even with all the injuries that they have faced is because of how elite their defense is. That isn't going to change on Sunday as they're going to be taking on to the Atlanta Falcons who have a below-average offense.
The last time that both of these teams faced, the Falcons were able to score 27 points but that is not going to be at the same outcome this time. The Saints are going to allow less than 14 points and that's going to lead to an easy victory for them and will help them get into the playoffs.
3. Offense does enough to win the game
Article Continues BelowIf the Saint's offense was just above average this season, they would be in a much better position than they are at the moment. Unfortunately, they have had issues at the quarterback position once Jameis Winston went down, which has been for most of the season.
New Orleans isn't going to do anything crazy on the offensive side of the ball, but they are going to be able to put up at least three touchdowns and because the defense is going to play so well, they are going to easily be able to win this game.

2. Saints win easy
Due to the defense, the Falcons aren't going to be able to get anything going at all throughout the game and that's going to cause the Saints to be able to win this game comfortably.
The game will never really be close as the Saints are going to have an early halftime lead and that's also going to be replicated in the second half which is going to allow the Saints to walk away with a much-needed victory.
1. Saints sneak into the playoffs
The Saints are going to have to win this game, which they are. After that, they are only going to need a few things to go their way and there is a very good chance that those things can happen. They're going to sneak into the playoffs and once they are there, they could potentially make some noise due to how good their defense is. Their offense isn't great due to some of the injuries that they have faced this year, but if their defense can continue playing at a high level just like they have for the past few weeks, they're going to find success in the playoffs.
