The Los Angeles Rams will face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14 in this NFC West matchup. It's time to continue our NFL odds series with a Rams-Cardinals prediction and pick.

The Rams and Cardinals will play on Monday night in huge division battle. Los Angeles will be looking to pick up a game on the division leading Cardinals, who have been able to keep rolling through the adversity so far this season. Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins are both back after each missing a chunk of time earlier in the season. The Rams are looking to keep pace in the NFC West with a win as a loss would leave them three games behind the Cardinals for first place with little time to make up that ground. A win would on the other hand pull them to within one game. The Cardinals come in as home favorites over the Rams in this Monday night matchup.

Here is how FanDuel set the Rams-Cardinals odds for this Week 14 NFL matchup.

Why The Rams Could Cover The Spread

Article Continues Below

Los Angeles looked like the team to beat for a few weeks earlier in the season, but has now lost three of their last four games. Matthew Stafford hasn't looked quite as comfortable as teams have adjusted to the Rams' passing game. The Rams will be without starting running back Darrell Henderson in this one, so they will need others to pick up the slack in the running game. Odell Beckham Jr. looks better as a Ram than he did as a Brown, and Los Angeles will need him going forward with Robert Woods out for the season. Make no mistake though, it is still the Cooper Kupp show in LA. Kupp leads the NFL in receptions, targets, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and yards after the catch. He's second to only Justin Jefferson in 20+ yard receptions. Slowing down the Rams starts and ends with slowing down Kupp.

The Rams are 4-2 on the road this season and 5-7 against the spread overall.

Why The Cardinals Could Cover The Spread

The Cardinals are somehow 10-2 despite missing their quarterback, No. 1 weapon and others for chunks of the season. Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins have returned, while it looks like JJ Watt and Chase Edmonds will likely miss the rest of the season. Arizona has not slowed down regardless of who has been out as they have won three of their last four games, a pair of them without Murray. Arizona's defense is what is leading them to victory when Murray is out or unable to light up the scoreboard like he normally does. The Cardinals allow just 220 passing yards per game, making this a tough test for the Rams passing game.

The Cardinals are 3-2 at home this season (7-0) on the road, and 9-3 against the spread. They are in a good position to cover and win as slight home favorites over the Rams.

Final Rams-Cardinals Prediction & Pick

Take the Cardinals to cover and win at home over the Rams in this spot. They have been the hotter team and are getting healthy. They have plenty of incentive to win this one for both NFC West and NFC overall seeding purposes.

Final Rams-Cardinals prediction & pick: Cardinals -2 (-110)
