It is the final game of a three-game interleague series as the Colorado Rockies face off with the Oakland Athletics. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Rockies-Athletics prediction and pick.
In game one of the series, Ryan McMahon homered in the first inning to give the Rockies the 2-0 lead. JD Davis would homer to make it a one-run game before the Ezequiel Tovar solo shot in the fifth made it 3-1. After the A's got a run on a while pitch in the sixth, Tovar hit his second of the game to make it 4-2. In the seventh, the Athletics tied it on a home run, and then Abraham Toro hit a solo shot in the eighth, giving the Athletics the lead. They would hold onto that lead and win 5-4.
The two will play again on Wednesday. Austin Gomber will be on the mound for the Rockies. He is 1-2 with a 3.02 ERA. Mitch Spence will be on the mound for the Athletics. He is 3-2 with a 3.90 ERA.
