The Minnesota Twins continue their series in Houston as they visit the Houston Astros. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Twins-Astros prediction and pick.
The Twins come into the series at 31-25, which places them in third place in the AL Central after they took three of four from the Royals. Meanwhile, the Astors come into the series in third place in the AL West. They also lost three of four to the Mariners coming into the series. The two will play on Friday night. Pablo Lopez will be on them and for the Twins. He is 4-5 with a 5.25 ERA. Roney Blanco will go for the Astros. He is 5-0 with a 1.99 ERA.

The Astros have the slightly better offense in this one, but the Twins offense is not bad. Framber Valdez is the better pitcher in this one, but he has not been better as of late. Joe Ryan has been the better pitcher as of late and will be the difference in this one. Take the Twins to get the win in this one.
