The Yankees have been great and they get an interesting matchup against the Giants in this game and series.
The Giants have been up and down so far this season towards a 29-28 record and they come into this following a loss. The Giants have been very good behind the plate on offense but then their pitching has struggled and ranks near the bottom of the MLB. Matt Chapman, Thairo Estrada, Michael Conforto, Jung Hoo Lee, and Jorge Soler make up the bulk of a very talented batting lineup. This is a decent matchup for Stroman because the Giants' strength as a team has been their bats behind the plate.
The absolute key for the Yankees is their offense. Juan Soto has been the biggest key player, leading the way in most batting categories next to Aaron Judge. This will be a great matchup because Jordan Hicks has been a highlight on the mound for the Giants.

In his last start, he pitched five innings and he allowed one run on two hits with two walks and eight strikeouts in a Giants win. Hicks has been great this season and this should be a great matchup against the Yankees and their offense.
