Metta World Peace channeled his inner Ron Artest at the start of his latest game in the BIG3. After a call he disagreed with, World Peace punted the ball and was subsequently ejected. World Peace was no stranger to ejections in the NBA and he seems to be the same way in the BIG3.

The kick was pretty weak from World Peace. The ball caromed off the side of his foot and shot off to the side. He could have made a much more forceful point if he connected well with it. Perhaps he isn't watching enough of the World Cup.

The 38-year-old has always been a hothead and even after changing his name from Ron Artest to Metta World Peace, he's still prone to these types of explosions. That's the type of reaction players give after a game filled with missed calls and boiling over frustration. It's not necessarily expected on one of the first plays in the game.

But then again, when dealing with World Peace it's safe to expect the unexpected.

Even his head coach and a fellow hothead, Charles Oakley, looked befuddled following World Peace's ejection. Oakley couldn't believe it.

Following his ejection, World Peace went down the tunnel to the locker room and the ejection didn't seem to bother him a whole lot. He even posed with a fan for a photo before retreating into the locker room.
