The Buffalo Bills are coming off of a great season with a 13-3 record and an AFC Championship game appearance. While they had success last season they have so much more room to grow. The Bills have a team loaded with young talent that will continue to improve and become more lethal.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen was the leader of the team last year and finished second in NFL MVP voting. Allen threw for 4,554 yards and 37 touchdowns which was a major improvement from his first two seasons. He will look to improve even more in 2021 and is a dark horse MVP candidate of the league.

Allen himself had gone from average to excellent in a matter of one season. There might also be 2 hidden gems on the Bills roster.

Buffalo Bills' 2 Hidden Gems

2. Running back Zack Moss

Bills, Zack Moss, Josh Allen

Zack Moss had a solid rookie campaign for the Bills and is very underrated. When given the opportunity, Moss showed what he was capable of as he rushed for 481 yards and 4 touchdowns. Moss also showed his potential in the passing game which makes him a versatile player.

He is a power running back that plays with an extreme level of physicality. If the Bills have him as the featured back this season he could help the run game improve. Moss has the ability to wear down a defense which makes the running lanes bigger later in the game.

The Bills are a pass-heavy team but Moss could help them have a dual threat attack. While the passing game will still be the focal point of the offense a solid run game would go a long way.

Look for Moss to become a known name around the league this season.

1. Defensive end A.J. Epenesa

A.J. Epenesa had a quiet rookie season but has a ton of potential. He didn't get a ton of playing time but showed out when he did. Epenesa should see more time on the field this season and could become a great pass rusher.

He has a great first step which allows him to explode quickly into the backfield. His size given him great length and power to disrupt the passer or runner. Epenesa showed the ability to create strip-sacks back in college which will help the Bills create more turnovers.

Epenesa is a hidden gem on the roster but he could become a household name this season.

The Bills are set to have another great season but they will have lots of competition in the AFC. With the Tennessee Titans offseason moves and the consistently great Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes and the Chiefs defeated the Bills in the AFC Championship game by a score of 38-24. It was evident that the Bills needed to improve the roster to best a team like the Chiefs in the playoffs.

The Bills had a solid offseason that could put the team in position to make a Super Bowl run. They had an underrated signing in free agency in wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. Sanders had a down year but could have a revitalizing season in a highly talented offense. While they had some minor moves in free agency the draft is where they were able to get some upgrades.

In the first round the Bills selected defensive end Gregory Rousseau who has a ton of potential. He may not be ready to start in year one but could develop into a top edge rusher in the league in a few years.

After a solid offseason and having hidden gems like these on the roster the Bills are ready to compete for a Super Bowl.
