Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen recently led his team to a Week 15 win over the Denver Broncos, the same squad which reportedly didn't want him to be their quarterback. After the game, the media then asked the Wyoming standout if there were any extra motivations to get the division-clinching win in Mile High.

“We heard on the broadcast that this game meant a little bit more to you on the personal side, just because Denver was so close to where you played college ball and they passed on you obviously in 2018. How much did this game mean to you that on top of being able to capture a division title and on top of getting that home playoff game, you could do it against a team that essentially said they didn’t want you to be their quarterback?”

Allen responded with a firm response which indicated that he didn't have any regrets on the events that happened back in the 2018 NFL Draft, which landed him on the Bills.

“I’m where I’m supposed to be,” he said via Pro Football Talk.

The Broncos had the chance to snag Allen as their franchise quarterback with the fifth overall pick but opted to go with defensive end Bradley Chubb out of NC State. Allen then landed on the Bills and was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

After a couple of years, it is safe to say that both the Bills and Josh Allen are a perfect fit for one another. While still in his third campaign in the league, the 24-year-old playmaker has already been making noise and entering the MVP conversation together with the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers, among other candidates.

With a 48-19 rout of the Broncos, the Bills have snagged their first AFC East crown since 1995 and ended the New England Patriots' 11-year reign in the division.

Despite their success in the regular season, Josh Allen and the rest of the team will still have more work to do as they are looking forward to making a deep playoff run in the upcoming postseason proceedings.
