A 19-foot jumper to open Saturday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers would be all Blake Griffin would need to become the first L.A. Clippers player ever to score 10,000 points for the franchise.

The 6-foot-10 forward achieved this feat in only 466 games, giving him yet another big-time accolade in his young career.

Griffin had as easy a night as he's had this season with a depleted Lakers team playing without three players that were shut down for the season.

The Oklahoma native was a dominant 12-of-15 from the floor, 4-of-7 from deep, and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line to put up a game-high 36 points to go with eight rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 40 minutes through the 115-104 win.

The Clippers' 47th win of the season also marked Doc Rivers‘ 800th of his career, making him one of only 15 coaches to ever reach the milestone.
