Allen Iverson is a big fan of Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard. The NBA legend and basketball Hall of Famer hinted as much on Friday during his interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report.

When asked about his Top 5 “killers” in the NBA, Iverson quickly named Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden and Bradley Beal. As he was thinking about his fifth player to complete the list, he smiled before mentioning Lillard and calling him a “certified” killer.

Interestingly, his praise of Lillard didn't stop there as he went on a rather passionate commentary on the savage and brutal way Lillard destroys his opponents.

“He's a monster. Steph is just as bad as hell, but Dame is just a rude mother******. He's just rude, he's just disrespectful. He just do anything: I mean past half-court, let it fly, buzzer beater. [He has] no fear–he's not just a killer, he's a serial killer,” Iverson said of the Blazers leader.

Allen Iverson couldn't have said it any better. Damian Lillard is often considered one of the most potent and dangerous scorers in the NBA, and he has been the embodiment of clutch for a few years now with his “Dame Time” heroics.

Simply put, when you're up against Dame and the Blazers, the game is not over until it's over because Lillard is more than capable of turning things around in just a snap.

While Lillard is yet to win at the highest level, there is no doubt that he strikes fear into his opponents whenever he has the ball. As Iverson said, that trait makes him a “killer” among killers on the basketball court.
