Blazers’ CJ McCollum continues to fight for Breonna Taylor with postgame interview shirt
The Portland Trail Blazers are the talk of the town following Thursday’s victory over the Brooklyn Nets, which allowed them to secure the eighth seed in the West. For Blazers guard CJ McCollum, this recent turn of events presents itself as a more significant opportunity to carry on with the fight against systemic racism.
As seen in the photos below, McCollum was photographed wearing a Breonna Taylor shirt after the impressive win over the Nets:

The number of Daniel Cameron, the Kentucky Attorney General, is on the back of this shirt. Cameron is set to make a decision in the near future as to whether or not to prosecute the police officers who shot and killed Taylor in her own home back in March.
McCollum wants to make sure that we do not veer away from the conversation about social injustice. Instead of the spectacle of basketball serving as a distraction, the Blazers 2-guard wants to use this as an avenue to make even more noise about the issue at hand.
As for his basketball, McCollum gutted through his back injury to rack up 25 points in the thrilling win over Brooklyn. While he struggled with his shot from behind the arc, he hit a clutch jumper in the final minute that helped Portland to victory.
The Blazers are now the proud owners of the eighth seed in the West, and they will have a twice-to-beat advantage when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in round. The winner of which will face the first-placed Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs.
