Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard CJ McCollum wasn't fond of backcourt partner Damian Lillard taking some of his shine, as Lillard recently broke the news of ESPN reporter Chris Haynes leaving the big network for a role as a Senior NBA Insider for Yahoo Sports.

McCollum was a journalism major at Lehigh and has pursued his career during the offseason, now even taking part in his very own Pull Up podcast, along with multiple appearances in local and national TV news stations.

Lillard, who is known as one of the most notorious NBA rappers, broke the news due to his connection with Haynes, who used to cover the team as a member of CSN Northwest (now NBC Sports Northwest).

The Blazers point guard likely had the inside scoop on Haynes' new landing spot, starting in October, and didn't hesitate to take to Twitter to share the news.

Lillard warned this wouldn't be the last time he's dropping some of these media bombs for his Twitter fans after this excellent role reversal.

As long as the Portland backcourt is only competing against each other in the offseason, the Blazers will be just fine sporting this familiar one-two punch for this 2018-19 season.
