Jusuf Nurkic gave the Portland Trail Blazers some much-needed inspiration when he showed up on the floor in their come-from-behind, close out Game 5 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also came on wearing a shirt saying “No Bricks, Next Question” as an apparent shot at Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.

When asked about Nurkic's antics, Blazers superstar Damian Lillard, who drained the epic series-clinching buzzer-beater to knock off the Thunder in Game 5, admitted that the Bosnian Beast is a petty person.

Despite just a few weeks removed from his nasty broken leg injury late in the regular season, Nurkic was still in the mood for jokes, as shared by Lillard in the interview above, per NBC Sports Northwest.

Nonetheless, this is really nothing new. Nurkic is a pretty notorious trash-talker in his own right. His roasting of Westbrook, despite already being out for the season, is an indication of how he goes about his business.

Even on the sidelines, Nurkic is still proving his worth to this Blazers squad. Lillard's masterful 50-point night in Game 5 capped off by his shot heard around the world sure did put Portland over the top. But Nurkic's presence was just as valuable.

Nurkic figures to have a long road to recovery as he works to come back stronger from that devastating leg injury.

Nevertheless, the Blazers are doing just fine without their 7-foot, 260-lbs. Bosnian in the middle. Portland, despite entering the playoffs as a major underdog, strolled through the Thunder, defeating them 4-1.

They are still awaiting on their second round opponents as the Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs face off in a final and deciding 7th game tonight.
