The beef between Portland Trail Blazers All-Star point guard Damian Lillard and Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal continues to intensify, as the former has now come out with his own diss track against the retired four-time NBA champ.
Lillard, aka Dame D.O.L.L.A., did not take too long to come out with his response from Diesel's own diss track, and at this point, all we can say is that it's straight up fire.
For some context, it was actually Lillard who first took a shot at Shaq by questioning O'Neal's legitimacy as a rapper back in the 90's. The 15-time All-Star big man did not take too well to what he considered to be extremely disrespectful from the Blazers guard, and Shaq had to come out of retirement — in the rap game, at least — to release his diss track against Dame.
Lillard quickly took notice of O'Neal's jab, and went straight to the studio to come out with his rebuttal. Honestly, based on how awesome Dame's track is, we will need to give round 1 to Lillard.
One of our favorite lines form the track has got to be Dame saying that it was Kobe Bryant who won those rings for O'Neal during their time together with the Los Angeles Lakers. That surely had to hit the spot for Shaq.
This feud appears to be far from over, with O'Neal showing that he is more than willing to engage. This can only get better for us fans, so it's definitely time to bring out the popcorn.
