Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard a.k.a. Dame D.O.L.L.A. just released his third full-length album entitled Big D.O.L.L.A.. The album has received FIRE reviews from some of the more prominent names in the hip-hop industry.

Recently, TMZ caught up with Dame D.O.L.L.A. and asked him what winning a Grammy or being invited to perform at a prominent awards show would mean to him. In the video interview, Lillard stressed that it isn't his top priority — winning an NBA championship or getting an MVP is still number one — but it is something that he genuinely thinks about.

Lillard extensively discussed about how amazing it would to become the first NBA player of his caliber to become a serious artist in the music scene. After all, no true NBA superstar has ever made a huge impact in the music industry.

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal has tried his hand at rapping. Likewise, LeBron James and Kevin Durant have also released some of their tracks. However, none of them have become major players in the industry. Lillard's latest release certainly has the potential to make him a pioneer in that case.

Big D.O.L.L.A. includes 10 tracks and features collaborations with some big names such as Lil Wayne, Jeremih and Mozzy. Lillard released his first album entitled The Letter O in 2016 followed by Confirmed in 2017.

As successful as Lillard has been in music, his basketball career is still his top priority moving forward. The All-NBA point guard is still on his quest of winning an NBA championship or the league MVP.
