Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is ruled as questionable for Friday's match-up against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Blazers star has been on a cold streak over the past three games, putting up just 16.7 points while shooting just 34.1 percent from the field. This is far from his regular season average of 25.2 points on 44% shooting.

Lillard, 28, has played through the injury and is not expected to miss a significant amount of time.

However, if he won't play against the Hornets, CJ McCollum is expected to carry much of the offensive load, Seth Curry, Nik Stauskas, and Evan Turner could see more minutes for the Blazers.

The Blazers have been a really good team this season. They are currently fifth in the West with a 25-17 record. They are currently on a three-game winning streak despite Lillard's struggles on the offensive end.

Lillard, one of the most athletic guards in the league, has played his entire career for the Blazers. He's led the team to the playoffs for five straight years. However, Portland hasn't had much success in the postseason. They have been swept in the first round for two years in a row.

Still, Dame can heat-up in any given moment. He's a streaky shooter that can punish opposing teams in the offensive end. He's also very reliable in clutch situations.

Despite this injury, Lillard has been healthy throughout his entire career, playing at least 73 regular season games in his seven years in the league.

Lillard has career averages of 23.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.2 assists.
