The Portland Trail Blazers have not had a good start to the season. Currently, they only won five out of the opening ten games, which is underperforming for their standards. Additionally, they are now in the midst of a major scandal concerning their GM, Neil Olshey. Now, the biggest star of the Blazers, Damian Lillard, reacted to the news coming out.

As ESPN reports, Lillard had this to say about the ongoing situation in his team:

“The games continue. Our jobs continue. And that's all we can do. That's what we can control is doing our job and being prepared, and me being here for 10 years now and being a big part of this organization and this team, it's my job to continue to do that the way that I have. And that's what I can control and that's what I'll do. I think the best way to lead is to focus on leading the team. We play basketball, and my job is to be the point guard and the captain of this team. And to continue to do that.

As The Athletic first reported, Neil Olshey was accused of creating an intimidating work atmosphere. The Blazers responded, without naming Olshey, by hiring an outside law firm to conduct a thorough investigation into these complaints and will take further steps, if needed, in the future. This all comes in the midst of the aforementioned poor start and a summer of rumors concerning a possible trade of their franchise player, Damian Lillard.
