Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard says keeping Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic “under control” is how Portland is going to defeat the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs.

Murray and Jokic are the two best players on the Nuggets. Both are playing in their first playoffs, but the two youngsters showed in Denver's first round series win against the San Antonio Spurs the bright lights don't bother them.

Game 1 of this series is on Tuesday. The Blazers will look to start the series off with a bang by stealing home-court advantage.

“He’s a really good, young guard,” Lillard said of Murray, via Michael Singer of the Denver Post. “He’s really aggressive, really confident, and he’s played a big role in the success of their team. If you want to beat this team, you’re going to have to keep both those guys (Jokic and Murray) under control.”

The Blazers went 1-3 against the Nuggets during the regular season. Lillard averaged 21.3 points while shooting 37.1 percent from the field and just 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Murray put up 19.0 points against the Spurs in the first round, while Jokic averaged 23.1 points, 12.1 rebounds and 9.1 assists. It's going to take a team effort for the Blazers to stop Jokic in the post.
