Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard is not very confident players can adhere to the strict guidelines in Orlando, Florida once the 2019-20 season resumes at Walt Disney World.

Players aren't allowed to leave the Walt Disney campus during the “bubble” games, which are set to start on July 30.

NBA players have been informed that anyone who leaves the Orlando campus will be subject to a 10-14 day self-quarantine, reduction in money for games missed and enhanced COVID-19 testing, which would be the deep nasal swab test that everyone hates.

According to the NBA health and safety protocols, all players, team staff and guests in Orlando will be required to certify in writing that they will adhere to all pre-arrival rules and NBA rules while on the Walt Disney campus. Failure to comply with protocols subjects a player to potential discipline such as warning, fine, suspension, and/or removal from the Walt Disney campus.

Lillard and the Blazers will be battling it out with the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings for the final playoff spot out West. The 22 NBA teams that will be in Orlando will play eight seeding games as selected from its remaining regular-season matchups.

Before the season was suspended in March, Damian Lillard was averaging 28.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists for the Blazers in 58 games. The five-time All-Star was also shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from beyond the arc and 88.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Blazers got all the way to the Western Conference Finals in 2019. It would be unfortunate for the fans in Portland if the Rip City club didn't even make the playoffs in 2020.
