Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard has repeatedly made it known that he doesn't want any unfinished business. He doesn't want to jump ship just so he can win his first ever NBA ring.

So it shouldn't come as a surprise that he shut down a fan who had a little proposal for him on Twitter. He suggested that Lillard should join the Phoenix Suns. But the five-time All-Star simply said it's a “no.”

Lillard teaming up with Devin Booker would create a devastating backcourt duo. Plus, with DeAndre Ayton, Kelly Oubre, Ricky Rubio, they could be instant title contenders. Unfortunately for Suns fans, everything will remain as wishful thinking for now.

The 30-year-old Lillard, who has career averages of 24.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.5 assists, has been the heart and soul of the Trail Blazers since being drafted sixth overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. He has carried them to multiple postseason stints in his eight years, while hitting some of the most memorable shots in team history.

He, however, has yet to reach the NBA Finals, and some fans have also been chiding him for it. But Dame Dolla is not having any of it as he also fired back on Twitter with a fiery retort.

Lillard, a four-time All-NBA Team member, has already said he has no interest in joining super teams as he truly believes they can build something in Rip City. His former teammate Earl Watson revealed that Lillard was courted by a powerhouse squad last year — but the prolific guard easily dismissed it.
