San Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge recently spoke to The Athletic's Jabari Young about his journey from leaving the Portland Trail Blazers to having one of the best seasons of his career with the San Antonio Spurs. The 33 year-old All-Star is proud to say that he's grown as a player, both on and off the court.

It was later revealed that Aldridge had reached out to Damian Lillard to apologize about their issues back when they were together in Portland, giving Young the opportunity to ask him if he's thought about the things that he could've accomplished with Dame and CJ McCollum, if he chose to stay in Portland.

“Dame, CJ and myself,” Aldridge said smiling. “I’ve been happy in San Antonio, but if you put all three of us together, it’s something to deal with.”

Lillard was also asked to give his opinion about the matter, and the All-Star guard couldn't help but wonder about all the ‘What ifs.'

“That’s a thought,” Lillard said. “He’s advanced in his career now. And I’m not the same player I was when he last played with me. … Who knows what else we would have — CJ and all the other pieces on the team? It’s like damn, what if that was still happening? Where would we be right now? What type of situation would it be?”

Meanwhile, McCollum had a brief but emphatic response to the idea of him playing with both Dame and LMA.

“We’d be nasty,”

There's no way for fans to see what a Big Three of Aldridge, Lillard, and McCollum would look like on the court, but one thing's for sure. If they decided to stick together and each of them grew and progressed the same way they did now…

There's no doubt that the Blazers would give most of the contenders in the league a run for their money.
