The NBA has announced that Portland Trail Blazers forward Mario Hezonja has been fined $25,000 for making inappropriate contact with a game official.

In Monday's 130-107 win over the Orlando Magic,  Hezonja held the official's hand to keep him from giving a technical foul to Blazers teammate CJ McCollum.

Despite getting fined $25,000, Hezonja should be delighted he didn't get suspended multiple games for his action. In 43 games this season, Hezonja is averaging a career-low 4.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 16.3 minutes per game. The 25-year-old is also shooting 40 percent from the field and a career-low 26.8 percent from three-point range.

Nonetheless, the Blazers have been plagued with injuries this season from numerous players. They're currently ninth seed in the Western Conference with a record of 27-35. Despite their disappointing record, they're only three games behind the Memphis Grizzlies, who are the eighth seed.
