Bobby Portis recently held a Twitter Q&A, where his followers on the social media platform had the opportunity to ask him random questions. From his pre-game routine, his favorite Jordan Brand shoes, to his most exciting game, the Chicago Bulls forward was able to answer them all.

However, what came as a surprise to many was when he named the best teammate he’s had so far in his first two years in the NBA. Even if he only played with him for one season, Portis said it was Rajon Rondo, who was recently waived by the Bulls and went on to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Despite entering the league nine years prior to him, the two developed a strong bond last season. Rondo served as a big brother to Portis, giving him tips on how to be successful in his career. Now that they've parted ways, Portis can still learn a lot from some other veterans left in the Bulls lineup such as Dwyane Wade, who, like Rondo, has been in the league long enough to understand what it takes for a young player to make a name for himself.

Rondo, on the other hand, will have the chance to lead a young Pelicans team, bannered by his two fellow Kentucky products, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. If he can build good relationships with them and the rest of the team, he could turn out to be what the Pelicans need to finally make it back to the playoffs, and will also prove Portis right, that Rondo is indeed a very good teammate.
