Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon made a name for himself in Southeast Asian Dota 2 with multiple wins on Fnatic. The Thai Carry helped establish FNC's dominance in 2020. Additionally, he broke out as a prominent Carry player within two years of his debut. Now, 23savage takes his skills to Indonesia as he fights for the BOOM Esports banner.

WHEN ROSTERS GO BOOM

The Thai Carry joins BOOM as a stand-in to serve for the remainder of the DPC's 1st season matches. BOOM established itself as a SEA frontrunner with the acquisition of a strong Carry player. Ultimately, the roster change came at just the right moment with BOOM in a precarious situation given their early 2-3 record.

Vici Gaming acquired 23savage prior to the beginning of the 2021 season. Unfortunately, the team released the talented Dota player due to heightened travel restrictions. 23savage initially cited communications issues as the main reason for his release from Vici Gaming. The freedom of Dota 2 players to transfer between regions often result in communication problems that sometimes lead to dismal results. Ultimately, 23savage never played a game for Vici until his official release. The communication barrier doesn't completely disappear with 23savage's addition to the BOOM roster but he will feel more at home with a SEA team.

23savage happily returns to the competitive scene playing in his home SEA region. The road ahead remains rough for the Indonesian squad but their lineup undoubtedly received much-needed bolstering with the addition of the new Carry. BOOM Esports stands a chance to join the upcoming Singapore Major if they can win their upcoming matches against Execration and Vice.

BOOM's next match takes place on February 17th prior to their final match against Vice on February 20th. Hopefully, this upstart SEA team gets the chance to rock the Dota 2 scene.
