British boxer Tyson Fury proved to the world that he was the better tonight, as he successfully defended his WBC title against long-time rival Deontay Wilder. (via Eyesight Sports)

This was the third boxing match between the two fighters. Their first bout in 2018 ended unceremoniously in a draw. The second fight was decisive, as the Englishman Fury scored a technical knock-out win in the seventh round. With sparks flying between the two fighters before the fateful third match, Wilder wanted to get back at Fury. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.

It was an all-time classic, as the two boxers traded blows and knockdowns against each other.

However, Fury was just too much to handle for the American Wilder.  Wilder showed incredible tenacity during the fight, but that wasn't enough. In the eleventh round, with 1:51 left, Fury ended the boxing match in style, knocking out Wilder for good with a devastating right hook. Before that round, the British boxer already scored two big knockdowns on Wilder, all but sealing his fate.

With this win, Fury retained his WBC Heavyweight title, and keeping his record clean with 32 wins, 0 losses, and one draw. Fans were treated to a banger of a boxing match tonight, and hopefully we see more of these two on the ring.
