During the Atlanta Braves World Series parade on Friday, pitcher Tyler Matzek got a little too excited and decided to run out and join the fans as the bus made its way through the crowd. Police in the area, however, failed to recognize Matzek as one of the player's on the team and attempted to detain him as he celebrated.

Running in front of the bus with a fedora, baseball jersey, and jeans on, Matzek sticks out like a sore thumb and the poor cops are just trying to do their job. Matzek takes off in a fashion in which he is looking like he's trying to get away from people, so he definitely seems like a crazed fan when you first glance at him charging in front of the humongous bus. What happened after that is hilarity at its finest.

Maybe if he were a starting pitcher or a hitter he would be recognized, but relievers get no love, so here we are. Although he was one of the more important pieces for the Braves' improbable postseason run to winning the championship, Matzek unfortunately still isn't recognized in the city in which he plays.

This had a fortunate end for all parties involved, as Matzek was quickly identified and allowed to continue on with his merry ways, but the hilarious footage of the cops who attempted to detain one of the people they were there to protect will live on forever. That is what the internet is good for, don't forget.
